Eagle Scouts of 270

The following Scout members of Troop 270 have been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts.  The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle".

Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout. Additional recognition can be earned through Eagle Palms, awarded for completing additional tenure, leadership, and merit badge requirements. At each Eagle Ceremony a Scout receives and Eagle Scout Gift from the Troop, usually the Silver Eagle Award.

The 270 Eagle's Nest

Troop 270 Eagle Scouts

To the three Promises of the Scout Oath.

I thoughtfully recognize

And take upon myself

The obligations and responsibilities

Of an Eagle Scout.

On my honor

I will do my best

To make my training and example,

My rank and my influence

Count strongly for better Scouting

And for better citizenship

In my troop,

In my community,

And in my contacts with other people.

To this I pledge my sacred honor.

I reaffirm my allegiance
